Milton First Responder’s Foundation (MFRF) Night at Olde Blind Dog ~ Huge Success!
MILTON, GA (February 23, 2016). Established in 2015, the Milton First Responder’s Foundation (MFRF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation (http://miltonfirstresponders.org/). The MFRF Board is comprised of civic and business leaders that serve on a volunteer basis to provide support to the Milton Police and Fire employees and their families. Our mission is to encourage and strengthen the partnership between the citizens of Milton and our public safety first responders. MFRF is dedicated to providing critical resources to those who make the city of Milton a safe place to live, work and visit. Public safety cannot rest on the shoulders of law enforcement and firefighters alone. As much as we all need the police and firefighters, they need our support as well. MFRF raises funds for programs through a variety of events that are sponsored through donations from local businesses, civic organizations, neighborhoods, and individuals.
Thanks to everyone who came out on a rainy Tuesday evening to support Milton First Responders! The place was packed and everyone enjoyed some great food and fun for a great cause.
We will post more photos and update the results as they arrive but we can say that we reached our goal to raise enough money to fund the 4 bikes for our Fire and Police Departments, thanks to a VERY generous $6,000 donation from the William B. Orkin Foundation!
Special thanks to Ron Wallace, Joe Creamer and the entire staff at OBD for sponsoring such a wonderful evening for us!
