Alex Orkin

Business Associate

Alex is the newest member of the team at Orkin and Associates after joining in January of 2024 as a Business Associate. His role is mostly focused on the financial side of the business and extends into other aspects such as real estate related activities, leasing, and property management.

He is the son of Adam Orkin and is the fourth generation to work in the family business, joining his brother, Brian. Alex grew up in Milton and graduated from King’s Ridge Christian School in 2016. He then attended Samford University and graduated in 2020 with a BSBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship. During college, he interned at Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty, and he also interned at Orkin and Associates the summer of 2020, before becoming a full-time employee in August of 2020 as a business analyst.

Seeking broader real estate work experience, Alex moved to northwest Florida in 2022, where he worked at Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty as a team agent with the Jabbour Luxury Group. He has experience in various aspects of real estate, including real estate analysis, financial and accounting aspects, commercial leasing, and assistance with mixed-use development. As a team agent, he worked with clients buying and selling property along Scenic Highway 30A, specifically in the communities of Seagrove, WaterColor and Seaside, Florida. Alex has now rejoined Orkin & Associates and currently lives in Milton, Georgia.
