Ruth Slaten

OFFICE MANAGER  

Ruth Slaten is the Office Manager and assists the Orkin staff administratively. In addition to her office management tasks she manages all social media channels. Beginning in  2022, Ruth took on the role as venue manager for The RoofTop at Crabapple Market. She joined Orkin & Associates in 2018.

Ruth grew up in Nashville, TN and moved to the Atlanta area in 1990. She holds a BS in music from Welch College and an MA from Middle Tennessee State University in Vocal Performance. After a 20-year hiatus from the full-time workforce, she worked as an executive assistant at the North American Mission Board for 9 years where she assisted in both the Human Resources and Marketing departments.

Ruth has raised four children and is now an empty nester residing in Canton. She loves singing with the Georgia Worship Choir, antiquing, and spending time with her family and dachshund, Bear.
