MILTON, Ga., – Purpose Snackery™ was officially welcomed to the neighborhood on Wednesday, August 23. Milton Mayor Joe Lockwood along with more than 50 attendees were on-hand for the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony at Crabapple Market.

Located in downtown Milton, this new upscale-casual snack shop–developed by Remarkable Brands LLC and Territory Developer, Georgia Franchise Group (GFG), another Milton based company–is the first location to open. The menu features an assortment of flatbreads, toasts, handcrafted sodas, fresh smoothies, froyo and signature cold brew coffee drinks. Their complete menu is available online at www.purposesnackery.com.

“We’re incredibly honored that Remarkable Brands and GFG would select the city of Milton as its flagship location,” said Lockwood. “Their focus on purpose beyond profit aligns well with Milton’s focus on community engagement and volunteerism through our groups like Better Together.”

According to GFG, Purpose Snackery is redefining the snack shop concept by encouraging its independent Franchisees to make an impact on the communities they serve. Working in concert with local, regional and national purpose-driven brands, each Purpose Snackery location provides a variety of wholesome grab-n-go snacks, while also working to make a difference in their community by partnering with a local organization to provide a platform for awareness through in-store and community outreach efforts.

“Success for us at GFG is about genuinely engaging with the community to positively impact the lives of those we serve. With the opening of the first Purpose Snackery in Milton, we are looking for great people who share our desire to build something remarkable, and are excited to spread the Purpose Snackery values in Georgia,” said GFG President Todd Broaderick.

“Strategically adding to the list of amazing businesses that already call the Crabapple district home is a key element of fulfilling the community’s vision for a walkable village,” said Milton’s Economic Development Manager Sarah LaDart. “Working with another Milton business [GFG] to help make that happen is particularly rewarding.”

“We are blessed to have Todd and his team as a part of our community,” said Adam Orkin with Crabapple Market.
